D-JET Mockup Tour
For Immediate Release
On November 8, 2007, the Diamond D-JET Tour kicked off its first mockup display event in the Southwestern United States. Hosted by USAERO LLC, the regional distribution company for Diamond Aircraft, the D-JET dazzled thousands of spectators who descended upon the city for the NBAA Jet Preview in Oakland, CA. The tour schedule includes eleven additional Arizona and California locations, and will continue until January 31, 2008.
The second D-JET mockup event in Mesa, Arizona, was held at Falcon Field Airport (FFZ) on November 15, 2007. “We’ve had an excellent turn-out so far, and I only see it getting better,” reported Mike Farley, the local USAERO representative for Arizona. “There have been many people waiting a long time to experience the D-JET up-close and personal.”
A stunning, spacious design with sleek composite construction is what the D-JET delivers, as well as an optimum combination of safety, performance, and value for private owners. With its simple operating systems, forgiving handling characteristics, and low approach/stall speeds, the D-JET represents a new class of aircraft on the market: the Very Light Jet. It is a five-seat, single-pilot luxury aircraft, with the FADEC-controlled Williams FJ33 turbine engine and a Garmin G1000 all-glass flight deck with autopilot.
Other Arizona locations on this tour will include Phoenix and Prescott; in California, the D-JET tour will stop in Auburn, Napa, Palo Alto, Concord, San Diego, Oxnard, and Long Beach. For more information on the D-JET Tour, please call Steffanie Dinsbach at (562) 257-3200.
